Continuous Insulation Cladding (CIC) is a Single-Sided Structurally Insulated Panel which is a factory-manufactured insulation system consisting of continuous rigid insulating foam core permanently bonded to a structural sheathing panel. Designed specifically for retrofit and exterior building envelope applications, CIC can be installed directly over existing wall assemblies to significantly improve thermal performance, reduce air infiltration, and enhance the overall energy efficiency of a structure without requiring extensive demolition. By combining insulation and structural sheathing into a single prefabricated panel, CIC streamlines installation, reduces labor requirements, minimizes construction waste, and shortens project schedules.
